Standard Program
Our Standard Program offers the broadest range of coverage and provides individualized rates that takes into account your area of practice(s), county and part-time attorneys.
Strong Start Program
Our Strong Start Program is an easy to apply for program designed to provide affordable coverage to solo practitioners who have been licensed for three years or less. We leverage our strength and experience to support you, eliminating some of the risk associated with starting a new practice.
Specialized rates for distinctive needs
We offer discounted premiums to practitioners whose practice is predominantly appellate law. It is available for all types and sizes of law firms.
We offer specialized rates to practitioners whose practice is predominantly arbitration/mediation. It is available for all types of and sizes of law firms.
This highly specialized program is designed exclusively for solo practitioners handling cases from a Lawyers’ Mutual-approved local or county Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service statewide. Policies comply with the State Bar of California’s minimum standards requiring all Lawyer Referral Service members to provide evidence of insurance as a condition of membership. Participants enjoy the benefits of a low annual premium, as well as free MCLE programs and cyber coverage.

Following the “Safer at home” order and guidelines that became effective today, Lawyers’ Mutual will be extending our ‘Virtual Office’ protocols tentatively until April 20th, 2020.
As previously advised, our day to day operations will continue in line with our Business Continuity Plan, with usual business operating hours from Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm.
Please note during this period we will be issuing all policy documentation electronically via email to our Members. If you do require a paper copy of your documents these will be provided to you at a later date when our usual business operations are permitted to be resumed.
We would like to further remind you that for your convenience we do accept payments for premiums and deductibles via our payment portal.
