If you suspect your organization has been the victim of a cybersecurity incident or data breach, the first action item should be to put our cyber partner TMHCC on notice in writing as soon as possible, but no later than 60 days from the date the Insured first discovers the insured event.
This will help ensure that you are not jeopardizing coverage for any costs associated with the incident and that you are engaging experts vetted by your carrier. If there is a breach of sensitive information, you will be guided through the process by a TMHCC claims staff member, who will be assigned to you throughout the entire process. The TMHCC Claims Department works with experienced counsel and vendors and will guide you through the process.
